It’s not just about getting high.

Are you familiar with the new legal way people are getting high? That’s the rave with news publications worldwide. Delta 8 and it’s accompanying sub-ordinates have made small doses of THC legally accessible.
To me, this is a great win for those using THC for relief from mental health disease. It gives you that breathe of fresh air that is obscured and hidden while you are in the middle of a depressive episode.
Even if you just want to relax, this is a great, safe, legal way to do so. I have three kids so that’s just an added benefit. Let’s look more in depth at how Delta aid can become an additional medicine for depression and many other mental health issues.
How Delta 8 Has Helped Ease My Depression Episodes
In the midst of my struggle, I didn’t reach out. I never do. Hell, everyone who truly knows me will attest to the fact that I hardly answer my phone. Not purposely. That’s for another post, though.
So, as I’m struggling with these menacing thoughts and insomnia, I feel as though I’m dying, alone, subconciously. No one can see that on the outside. You can smile and easily cover that up. I’ve been doing it for years.
Everyday for the most of the year into last year, things with me mentally have been fucked. I reached out to my doctor even though I always had this idea that I would become a zombie if I ever took any prescription drugs, but I guess the zombie effect from weed was fine with me.
I know it doesn’t make sense. That’s what my mind does to me.
Weed makes you feel good, I’m not going to lie. However, it leaves you with that sluggish feeling, preventing you from being productive.
Delta 8 does have THC like your regular weed, but it is at a lower level deemed legal in 38 states. So, you can and probably will get high if you use it. Let’s not skip around that. It will definitely get you feeling that elated high many seek.
Depression survivors will notice a sense of happiness that has probably been missing for a while. It boosts your stress immediately and gives you a clear head, which is the biggest difference for me. When I used to smoke weed back in the day, it would leave me feeling so zonked out.
Most strains of Delta 8 boost your energy, not deplete it, which is exactly what I needed. My depression over the last four years has taken my energy away. Even lifting my head up in the morning felt daunting.
Now, I can do things easily, without feeling all this pain in my back, legs, head, neck, or wherever else my depression decides to hurt me that day. I’ve had depression since the 90’s, so that was nothing new, besides the fact that it had drastically gotten worse.
However, anxiety was a new parter in the mental health sceme of things that I never wanted to be introduced to. They never tell you how deep pregnancy changes you. It mixes up your hormones, too.
Thus, leaving me a party gift of anxiety. Delta 8 is a wonderful way to cope with it. I do take other prescription drugs, but tied in with everything, it has been wonderful for the pain, anxiety, mental grasp, and fits of rage that depression has.
Delta 8 Products
I’m very new to Delta 8, so I’m still exploring the options available. Here are some I’ve tried and loved:
- Delta 8 gummies
- Blunts ( they are infused from Delta 8 hemp flower)
- Hemp smokes
- Vape cartridges
- Disposable vapes
There are many other ways to get the benefits and highs of Delta 8. You can buy the flower and roll joints and blunts yourself. There are drops that you put in your mouth that I’ve very interested in buying, My next route are those drops and the concentrates, or dabs.
I’m by no means an expert on Delta 8 but I’m still learning. Maybe I’ll become one some day. Right now, I’m trying to work with some Delta 8 companies in a writing capacity. So, who knows.
Before I did or bought anything, I did intense research. This is just a little bit of info to get you going. I hope Delta 8 can help you as much as it has helped me.
